Oyoyo Vendor Marketplace
Role: Technical Product Manager
Project Overview
Oyoyo is a digital marketplace designed to connect event planners with trusted service providers such as caterers, decorators, photographers, and entertainers.
The platform aims to simplify the process of finding and booking event vendors while providing vendors with a digital storefront to promote their services.
Problem
Planning events often requires coordinating multiple vendors, which can be time consuming and inefficient. Many vendors rely on social media or word-of-mouth marketing, making it difficult for customers to discover reliable service providers.
The absence of a structured digital marketplace created challenges for both customers and vendors.
Customers struggled to find trusted vendors, while vendors lacked a centralised platform to showcase their services.
Product Vision
The goal of Oyoyo was to build a trusted digital marketplace where event planners could easily discover vendors, compare services, read reviews, and book vendors with confidence.
The platform aimed to create transparency, simplify vendor discovery, and streamline event planning.
